Holiday Greetings

1.When making this video Bree and started out with our hands full its was noeasy task trying to sort everything out when there was just so much going on. But through all of that my partner Bree Casas kept a brave face and did the best that she could witch brought the best out of me.Im and so proud of her because she stuck with it even though we both struggled with this projesct. Aslo what i love about our video is that our humor and personallities shown throw even though we did rush the editing. For example our costumes i believed added a lil extra, and our script was quite cute if you ask me.(inpired by handy manny).
2.I would have liked better music and tradtions maybe , for example Luis and Julissas trasitons where unique and were very well done i would of liked something like that in my video.
3.I hhelp write the script and came after school for extra editiing tips.
4.I help my partner by taking over when she felt stressed out or couldnt find the answer for something we would work it out togther.
5.Next time i would spend more time editing trasitions and tittles.

I really enjoyed this video right off the back because the way they introduced cyberbulying as a serious matter, and since the feel of the video was gloomy it really made you think about how victims of cyberbulling must feel. Also i really enjoyed the transitions they used in the video from Dylan to Michelle, i didnt see that in anyother video and each interview was filled with useful important information, for example the interview with mister Vella addressed an important issue of parents talking to their kids about cyberbulling.

Video 1

What i really enjoyed about this video was the overall feel, it is relate able to teens and was entertaining to watch. I liked how they used icons that represented websites that teens today use on a regular basis, and the fact they had a lot of interviews with teens gave it the audience a good look of what teens have to say about sexting and cyberbullying , since teens are most effected by it. Also i like how Damon used interviews from students from our school he did use some humor but over all they did get there point across, you can tell they put alot of thought into their video, and coming up with there catch phrase was really creative also. By adding teachers and adults to their video took their video to the next video. But what i enjoyed most was that each one of their personalities shown through the video, since i know them personally, this video totally reflected them and was very original.

Final Project(sexting)

Over all i am very proud of our video and how it turned out. Some of my favorite parts where all the information we gathered, our clips and the way the music flowed.Also i am prud of our graphics for example our tittles and how they turned out.Comment that where very helpful where to shorten some of our clips and spread them out. For example one of our main interview, draged on even though it adressed key and important issues about sexting. When we did cut the clips and spread them out it still got the main points across yet it wasent as boring and the video flowed better. Also sometimes the music was a bit destracting, for example when cody was speaking his voice was drwoned out by the background music, fixing this problem took a bit more time than i anticipated and at times was frusturating but it did impropve the video, along with the lighting in some of our scenes.
If i could do it over i would definatly organize time better, even though we did get things done we did find ourselfs running out of time and rushing some editing. Also i would like to have more of a varitey of interveiws.Last but not least another big thing i would change is camera angles and to help establish moods in scences. For example interview someone from a low angle as shown in eddys video really gives a personal and real effect.

Reflection
Even though my tittle is simple I did learn alot about different effects and templets i could use on my tittle. Such as different frames, different colors and contrats, like shadow, or bold word to give your tittle a certain effect. I did have trouble at first putting the tittle into my video. Then crystabell showed it was simply just dragging it from the prgram pannel into the time line then watching it in the source pannel. :)

JUMPS (inserts)

Inserts, is when you lay a clip next to another not covering it so the clip still plays along smoothly. It differs from overlays because you still have both shots without cutting out or overlaying the other clips, letting it run through smoothly. You first must import your second clip. Click on it from the source pannel, hold the control button, and lay it next to the other clips.

GOT JUMPS

Overlay: when first starting out i didnt quite get the difference between overlay and insert. Once I started actually doing the overlay i noticed that you put it over the other clips, instead of putting it next to the other clip. It gives a the video more of a contrast instead of letting it run straight through it gives you different camera angles.

New Reflection on Baler Interveiw

I Demi Nicole Frias am getting better at editing and knowing what to look for in videos to edit. Over the few weeks ive gone from not even knowing what these programs are to having a firm grasp on what they are and how to use them proberly. Trial and error was a big part of my learning process, it was no easy task, and many times i got frusterated with the whole thing, but with help from my partner, things came through. For example when Jorge saw i was confused or gettig frustuated with my part of the project he would either talk me through or take over and lead by exaple. He really helped with the whole concept on import and outport witch took me awhile to grasp. I helped Jorge by making sure he stayed on task and checking his work when i saw he made mistakes. Over all it help alot even though it took loonger than expected i felt i got alot out of it.

Baler Pride

I am getting better at editing and importing & exporting all the projects we have had so far. Im happy with the way our video came out and how the title and credits came out they look fenominal. I should have took a little longer to see which video went with the other kinda like a a good smooth sequence of videos. On my next project, I need to keep in mind that following step by step directions will make the go process go by smoother and faster.
One way i helped my partner was to help keep her on track and help her with any questions she had.my parnter helped my by taking over when i didnt know what to do the project probably would have failed without her. On this project i gained a better idea about how to edit and upload videos. What helped me figure this out was trial and error. One challenge we faced was finding the right spot to start and edit a video. We overcame this by discussing what we believed would be the best spots.

Skills that i have learned editing and uploading this video, is properly changing a videos format. Also finding the right start and end point in a video. What i liked about my final product was even though it is not my video that i uploaded, I still dont feel like i failed. I just learned new ways not to edit and upload a video.Next time i would like to edit and publish my own video without any or few mistakes. Michelle helped me properly upload my video when I got lost. What helped me learned was failing at them first.I know have a new repsect for people who work with and edit media

Reflection

Even though it did take a while putting the video together, and despite having to upload someone elses video i still learned aliot. I dont believe i failed, i just found new ways not to upload and edit a video. The whole process of exporting to me a while to get but after today I am more clear of what it it and how to use it properly. I know now that labeling your projects correctly really helps when exporting. Making sure you fallow each step and not skip any makes the whole prosess alot easier. I acctually found it quite interesting and would like to learn more about editing, I know there is alot more to it now then I orginally thought, I have a new respect for film makers and people your edit videos and media. All in all I felt it was a great learning expeirence.
